30th Street Corridor Brownfields

RPOP is excited to partner with the Commonwealth of Kentucky’s Energy & Environment Cabinet and the Louisville Metro Government Brownfields Program to offer community education and information about resources available to redevelop brownfields, vacant and underutilized properties with real or perceived environmental contamination that complicates their redevelopment, in the 30th Street Corridor. These conversations will be incorporated into community meetings about corridor planning, and will include opportunities for residents and other stakeholders to provide input into the future of brownfields in this area, and for property owners to learn about resources available to them as they make decisions about their land.

The Corridor runs from West Market Street on the north to Brandeis Elementary on the south, and from South 28th Street on the east to Louis Coleman Jr. Drive on the west.
